The profile on this lift was not very smart. Towers three four and five should be shorter having the line go closet to the ground over the parking lot. It’s way to windy on the Mansfield side.
Shouldn’t they have put the parking lot terminal in the middle of the parking lot? If you park on the far side of the lot, you’re closer to the base than the parking terminal.
This gondola is not meant to connect the parking lot with the Spruce area. It is meant to connect the Mansfield side with the Spruce side. The terminals are well-positioned to minimize walking skiers have to do when going from the Gondola to Sunny Sprice.
This gondola is free for all to use like the Telluride/Mountain Village gondola.
