It sounds like longer via extending lower, not higher. Somewhere around 900 vertical. Fun fact: this quad was the only true Doppelmayr lift within Wisconsin Resorts.
It seems this lift was declared dead and removed from service for the season — but only after early season passes had been sold in late October, upsetting customers. The trail maps even on the resort website still show the lift as existing, which is pretty disingenuous. (The lift does not appear on the trail reports) No doubt they will have a new lift in place next year with a lower starting point, but they haven’t gone about it in exactly the best way.
This lift is too young to retire. What’s going on here? Granted, it’s been a while since I last rode it.

the hill is eyeing a longer replacement. It’s going to be another quad, but whether it’s another fixed grip or a detachable we don’t know
