It also stands out as the only bottom drive lift at Mount Snow.

If I’m not mistaken, the original controls were upgraded by CTEC.

A lot of hall lift controls have been upgraded by CTEC. The old Sunrise Double At Ascutney was upgraded, and I believe Bolton Valley’s doubles may have also.

Makes me wonder…does anyone know of a hall lift with original controls? All the ones I have ridden have either been upgraded in-house (ex. Smuggs) , by CTEC, or by GMCS.

I have not seen this lift operate in a long time, not that it really needs to with Tumbleweed being a much better lift and right next door.

They are getting a high-speed-6 going up in that area so they will probably remove this lift

Honestly, I think seasons should be removed in place of a lift ending at where tumbleweed used to. This chair is super redundant considering that has a short line with little terrain (one run) and an out of the way loading area. Tumbleweed provided a much better unload spot (It could take you to the main base) and was a much better step up for beginner skiers. In my opinion, this chairlift is useless and needs to get taken out or replaced (with extensions) immediately.
