It’s hard to believe that this lift is now nearly 21 years old. I took my nephew on his first chairlift ride on this and he loved it. I remember when Burke installed this in 2005 and, like others, wondered why they did not replace the Willoughby first. But now I can see why–other than the fact that the double was older than the CTEC Quad, this set up is truly perfect. The lift is great for beginners (like my nephew) because it is fast, smooth, and easy to use. It also moves a lot of people. Lots of folks were using this lift due to the cold. I would love to see them add one more trail to help spread out skiers and riders. I have also ridden it in the summer and it is nice. It gets a lot of use in a year. It could use some refresh on the paint.
This lift also reused the hall tower tubes, you can tell by the base plates and a few towers have extensions on them.

Runs for the Burke Bike Park in the summer. Like Mid Burke, this lift often runs slower than full capacity.

Does LPOA still integrate the depression sheave assemblies into the terminals?
