Skyway B has the extra tower for extra clearance where the Runaway Mine Train roller coaster passes under the lift. The track is higher under the B side than the A side, so the A side doesn’t need that extra height for safe clearance.
After not opening at all in 2024, Six Flags announced that the Skyway will be removed in the offseason. Unfortunate that they no longer found it sustainable to maintain and operate it
