Actually, the stats on that site are quite old, and I do believe two chairs were removed a few years ago for some reason. I always remember seeing 44 chairs on the line
This used to be the Timberweed Double which which covered only a tiny portion of current Sawduster Triple. In fact the top of Timbertweed was at the bottom of Sawduster, necessitating 2 lift rides just to get up to the base lodge. Sugarloaf quickly extended Timberweed (in both directions) making the Snubber Triple.
My guess is that the reinstall in this beginner area necessitated an additional tower to be fabricated, thus the late-80s Borvig-style tower.

As of last season, it was still 46. I’ll check when I’m up there on Saturday.
