Skyride – Lake Placid, NY

This short pulse gondola replaced a Poma double to improve accessibility at the Lake Placid Olympic Ski Jumping Complex.
The bottom terminal has a fixed return bullwheel.
There are two pulses of four carriers each.
The only tower not immediately adjacent to a station is tower 2.
Cabins pass just below T2.
Towers 3 and 4.

    Counterweight tension hidden by the top lift shack

      This lift has hydraulic tensioning; there is no counterweight.

        It may be hydraulics that move the drive terminal, but it looks like there is a counterweight that’s providing the force, rather than a hydraulic pump.

      i don’t think it has a name, it is only on pulse gondolas/cabriolets.
