I never got here to ride Ka or this Skyride. It appear to be the average VonRoll, but a double lift. Long live the king!

I chose never again to go to Great Adventure again with my family after removing this ride when they could have restored it. I have been attending this park since day 1 in July 1974, and it was my first and favorite ride at age 9 and I worked there as a teenager and adult several years in the 80’s and 90’s. The park will lose some guest because of removing one of the oldest and most historic rides ever built. Ever since Cedar Fair and Six Flags merged the parks are losing these rides. I even sold my stocks in Six Flags because there business will start to fail. I have a remembrance video I made on YouTube dedicating this once in a lifetime ride that will never be built again. You can watch the video of this once famous historical skyride at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson New Jersey and how they scrapped it right here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3yb6RAFrFqU

I too feel deep pain when a beloved ride or lift is removed. But I also realize that you can’t keep these things running forever. They can’t make everyone happy. Parts, safety, costs, all have to be taken into account.
