From what I understand, the first chairlift was called Dollar. It apparently only ran for a few years before it was replaced by a newer single lift, also called Dollar.
The second Dollar lift ran until it was bought by Everett Kircher in 1948 for his new Boyne Mountain resort in Michigan. It was given the name Hemlock at its new home.
Hemlock ran in its original configuration until the 60s, when it was upgraded to a double by Riblet. Most of the original components were replaced, but the original top and bottom terminals from Sun Valley remain part of the lift to this day.
Is chair 1 the lift at Ruud mountain?

They need to call this area bald mountain vs the main resort. We need to plant some trees here or something! A service project on behalf of Lift Blog!
