The T bar hasn’t run in a couple of years. It will be interesting to see if it’s operational this season, especially with the addition of the new chairlift.
It’s been taken off the trail map. On the Ski wentworth Facebook page, they mentioned last season that they were waiting for parts.
If the lift isn’t going to be operating, it should be removed. The lift line could be turned into a trail.
I remember when there were two T bars. The T bar to the right was removed. Back in the early 2000s the hill was having financial difficulties. The T bar wasn’t operational for several years, leaving only the blue chair as the only top to bottom lift. It wasn’t until the Canada games that the lift was running again.
Update the Tbar was operating in 2025. First time in a couple of years. Hopefully the lift will continue to run for years to come. It was interesting that the tbar is actually faster than both chairlifts.
