This T-Bar opened to serve new terrain in 2012.The lift is powered by a small generator, see right. There are seven towers.Looking up at T3.Towers 6 and 7.Unloading zone at T7.The top station sits alongside a cool warming hut.Fixed return bullwheel.Looking down the middle part of the line.Outside operator controls.Inside control cabinet.
Is there a reason they only chose to expand into Mt. Stickney with this T-Bar and not an actual chairlift? The resort and terrain warrant it, and Omni certainly could have afforded it. I know the original proposal from the 90s through the mid-2000s called for a chairlift going to Mt. Stickney’s true summit alongside a number of cut trails, not just glades, and I have no idea why it was all scaled back.
