Why are the terminals different colors?

All of WV’s detachable terminals used to be white. The return terminal of Valley Run is the only one that hasn’t been repainted (I’m not sure why).

I can’t remember when, but I believe they moved the top terminal down a bit, to make it more beginner friendly. At it’s original termination, there was bit more pitch to the trail which made it more difficult for beginners.

The trail was served by two different lifts. The Valley Run Double was the original lift and was 3700 ft long. The Village Triple was added and it was longer at 4550 ft.

This quad has always been its length which is slightly longer than the original Valley Run Double. It’s 3900 ft long.

I think someone else was saying this would’ve been a more ideal lift to reuse for the Green Peak expansion, rather than relocate World Cup. Green Peak after all does reach all of Valley Run’s terrain in addition to its own trails.
