2 – Alpine Valley, OH

This lift was one of two built at Alpine Valley in 2013 following an acquisition by Peak Resorts.
Uphill end of the drive station.
Arriving at the top terminal.
Note the CTEC sheaves.
Very short lift line.

Any idea where this lift came from? With CTEC sheaves, added lifting frames, and a modified lower terminal from the original Hall design (overhead drive, so likely 1975 or after), it definitely had some new work done. I had previously found an article from the Akron Beacon Journal that said it came from an area in Utah, but that makes very little sense based on my research, and I can’t find that article anymore.
