    When viewing the towers in person you can see rust on the tower tubes. I think these tower tubes were reused from the removed Vail HSQs

      As we know about Vail in the Midwest, the only new lifts they install there come from old Vail detachables. It’s not a bad idea in that you only need 3-6 towers on a Midwest lift.

    Does anybody know why some of the tower rollers are red? Does it have to do with grounding? In vail every tower has red sheaves but Stowe only has red sheaves on depression assemblies.

      Red sheaves are steel body drop sheaves that are considerably heavier than their aluminum counterparts
