Loveland loads this Leitner-Poma quad only as a triple.Loading area and Z model terminal. One of five LPOA Alphas built in 2025.View down the line at tower 3.Tower 2.Tower 1.View up the short lift line.Side view of the lower station.View down from the summit.Poma Alpha chair manufactured in Thailand.Arriving at the top drive station.Tower 3.Another view of the fixed return.Unloading area and motor room.Top station overview.
Awesome pictures! Great dedication to getting pics even on the second day the lift was open. It was a pleasure meeting you today and good luck on future trips
The profile reminds me of Molly Hogan at near by Arapahoe basin, but with a longer line. Both are Alphas with z returns and top tension and drive. Nice pics!

We have had a very late start to the season out in the rockies

Only the US ones it seems as we got so much snow recently in the Canadian Rockies.

But, on the bright side, we’re getting respectable amounts of snow now. (At least in Colorado, I don’t know about Utah)

pretty sure we got about as much snow here as colorado did, wouldnt call it quite respectable though

Peter, is Poma sourcing their chairs from Thailand a new development? I thought all their chairs came from the Telfs factory in Austria.

Not a new development and just this style chair. All detachable chairs come out of Telfs. I believe Doppelmayr sources EJ chairs in Thailand as well.

Why loveland loads this as a triple?
LikeLike
Easier for beginners to load a triple rather than a quad.
LikeLike
It gives beginners more space to load and unload the lift.

This reminds me of Ruthie’s at Aspen. They used to load triple chairs as double chairs.
