This short tramway connects the Eglise trail system to homes along the Yellowstone Club golf course.Side view of the top terminal.Unloading area.Top bullwheel and an Omega IV cabin. The upper terminal houses the tension system.Tower 2 with Lone Peak in the background. Two of the three towers. The lift crosses over Third Yellow Mule Creek.European style tower head. The communications lines have their own towers to support spanning the creek.Drive terminal.Side view of the loading area.Lift overview. The lift line. It looks like maybe the first logging was in the wrong spot.Another look at the bottom station and tower 1.
The single run this lift serves is incredibly unique. It starts at the top of this lift and descends to a funicular, which is then the only way out. I do not believe I have seen a setup like this anywhere else.
Only 2 cabins on the line?

It operates as a jig back tram, hence only having 2 cabins.

If it were a pulse, there’d be a way for cabins to travel around the bullwheel.

Why build a tram like this instead of a pulse gondola?

@OWEN MITCHEN, maybe because of the smaller cost of buying fewer cabins?

You’d think a place as expensive as Yellowstone Club would be able to put more cabins on the line.
