I personally think they should’ve kept this lift for if they make a expansion on the backside and use it as a back country lift.

this lift wasn’t extremely old but old enough that they could have deemed it unusable, and besides I don’t think expansion is on their mind considering they just invested millions in a gondola. My statement about it being too old may be a bit absurd considering Bousquet (MA) summit double is about 60 years old! They purchased a new engine for it that is probably worth more than the mountain itsself. It failed the weight test anyway, they have to load every other chair so it doesn’t sag on to the race trail

They may have sold some of its parts as spares to the Heron-Pomas still running. The east only has two Heron-Pomas left that use Heron designs (Snowdon Triple at Killington, Red Chair at Magic) but there’s plenty out west

Ryan, what I mean is that it is being stored elsewhere in New Hampshire for future use, though not by Bretton Woods.

Well we can hope it might be reinstalled, but more likely as already suggested, is being parted out to keep others running.
