Is this the second last Habegger lift in north america next to Hells gate? (the vonroll merge does not count)

I don’t think it is a Habbeger. It is a Voest Alpine.
There used to be 2 chairlifts by Habegger at Grouse Mountain, but not sure if they are still there.

Its Habbeger. The plaque is at the top service desk. The 2 Habegger chairlifts are currently abandoned with the haul rope removed and the towers used for lighting. Peak terminal is now a restaurant while blue berry is still abandoned.

Blue Skyride is a Voest, You can see there was a plaque on the tower. The motor room still has one too, its just behind the curtain.

    New Update on this lift:
Its now going to be open to public during peak times, when the Red Skyride has lines 1 hour+.
Its a bit slower with the blue being 14 mins compared to red’s being 7mins, however this is a step in the right direction.
Im just hoping this hints a 3S gondola soon….

They should send the tourists up this thing and call it something like “the scenic tram” or something. It’s slow and they can get good views and not have to deal with skiiers. Then, skiers can have the fast and big red Skyride for themselves.

As of Dec 12, 2024, the new Blue Grouse Gondola has launched replacing this Blue Tram’s operation. The Blue Tram was mostly dismantled over Summer 2024, including the ropes and tower 2. Tower 1 and the terminal buildings are still standing. Both tram cars have been moved to the base terminal.

Seems like Grouse to keep their lifts half destroyed ;)

It would be cool if they kept that top building. That architecture is classic 1960s stuff. Also cool as I found that this lift is in an episode of X files.

The top station is (was?) integrated into the chalet/restaurants/theatre. It’s not going anywhere. Bottom terminal is slated to be removed as part of the base/parking lot remodel.
