The drive is for sure a Doppelmayr, but those towers are definitely not. This lift appears to be a late 60s Constam. The tension terminal looks a lot like other late 60s model Constam terminals I’ve seen, along with a similarity in the towers.
I would guess that this lift is the former Constam T-bar from Snowbasin that ran where the current Littlecat runs. The towers and tension terminal match and the length isn’t that far off. The lift at Snowbasin was removed after only 9 years of operation with a lot of life left.
It may have been a Constam when it was originally installed, but it’s not from Snowbasin. It was already operating at Cooper (in its original location) when the one from Snowbasin was removed.
When this was originally installed in Piney Basin (in an alignment slightly different from the current triple) it was a Constam. When it was relocated in 1983, it received the Doppelmayr drive, bullwheels, and line gear. The guys weren’t sure if the lift already had the Doppelmayr springboxes or if they were part of the retrofit.
This is the former Piney Basin t-bar. It was relocated in 1983 and converted to a platter in ’94 or ’95.
