I see on Instagram that Buttermilk is removing all of their lifts this summer for more uphill skiing. Do you know what will happen to these lifts! I know that Tiehack Express will be relocated to Aspen.

That might be the funniest 4/1 thing I have seen this year, right up there with Big Sky’s 16-seater chairlift!

I wonder if Summit Express would ever get replacement chairs to match the other two detaches.

Has there ever been serious thought into connecting Buttermilk and Snowmass by adding a trail and lift network on the ridge in between the two areas? It would add a substantial amount of terrain to the resort and help improve skier flow by making Buttermilk’s base a more attractive parking/destination option.

I know there is a Lynx habitat somewhere in this area, perhaps that is why it has never been explored?
