This was supposed to be a double-quad but the left side, Chair 2, was never completed.Leaving the base area.Tower 1.Return terminal. The top bullwheel.View down what would have been Chair 2’s lift line.Looking uphill at tower 3.Tower 2.Bottom drive terminal.
There were originally 4 side by side rope tows in the area under the unused side of those towers. The last 2 ran until about 2005. There was also a Hall T-bar running underneath where Chair 3 runs now that was replaced by Chair 3.
Looks like a snowflake bullwheel. I haven’t been to Troll in a good 10 years but always liked it. Nice focus on grooming and snow quality from what I remember.
Finally! More center pole quads have arrived!

I love that the crossarms on the unbuilt side just go into the trees!

Borvig/Partek signature. Not really one if there isn’t, at least spiritually.

The lower bullwheel was replaced at the beginning of the 2022-2023 season. The new one is also a snowflake design.

Most of the lifts a Greek peak, and the two quads at swain. The comet at pats peak was meant to be a double double but only one half was built

Thanks! Pat’s doesn’t have any half-built double doubles, where is Comet?
