    Are there any other riblet chairs that have what look like shock absorbers to limit the swinging?

      Quite a few. There was also what amounted to a brake band around a drum, which was secured at the end of the clip shaft. Might be a photo on the chair 8 page from Baker.

      It’s interesting, for sure. That was also fairly common on Riblets of a certain vintage.

        Chair 2 at Sandia Peak has the same style terminal and was also built in 1972
