Teaching my best friend to ski in the mid 90s, he lost a ski at loading on his first ride up on 5. He of course ate it at the offload, nearly crashing off the side of the double-black offload ramp as I leapt out of the way.
I loved working the top of old 4/5 in the afternoons. We useta play How Close Can You Stop The Lift with people we didn’t like. The goal was the toe piece of their bindings on the edge of the ramp (or right under the front foot for a snowboarder). I never got my desired result, which was Rory Osher falling into the circus net if he tried to put his weight on his skis. Sigh.

Probably in a shoebox somewhere. It was ridiculously tall, as I remember, and I was always nervous driving a cat on it to groom the ramp.
