It is a lightly loaded tower when empty. A black painted tower absorbs the sun like a solar panel. The sun can pull the tower top out of line a few inches. Just like putting heat on one side of a piece of steel and watching it move. The haulrope always wants to go in a straight line. The sun effect can cause misalignment. The light color absorbs less heat and the whole tower stays at a more uniform temperature.
It looks like over the summer of 2023 that restraint bars have been added to the chair eight chairs. Can anybody confirm this to be true.
Chair 1 & 3 had restraints added before last season.
