    why is the max line speed 984FPM not 1000

        And I don’t think anyone can really tell the difference between 984 fpm and 1000 fpm.

    Champagne and Summit were built to reduce the number of lifts one needed to take to get to the summit from four to three.

    This was done by having the Champagne Express replace the Horizon double and the Champagne T-Bar, while building a fixed grip quad to replace the Summit T-Bar.

    Despite having been built by Doppelmayr CTEC in the same year, the two lifts were built by the separate halfs of the merged company, resulting in Champagne being 100% Doppelmayr while Summit is purely Garaventa CTEC.

      The bottom concrete mast and operator house of the old summit t-bar are also still visible (Bottom of the HLH run)

    Excellent pod to lap, I enjoyed skiing in this terrain pod when I was at Panorama, nice groomers.
