Did this lift ever have counterweight tensioning originally opposed to the current hydraulic setup? This lifts sister lives on at Big Sky as Cascade, a real estate lift and it was upgraded to hydraulic tension during the relocation.

Summer of ’00 while doing line work, Kenny (RIP) told me the line was too flat to need tensioning. I feel like that can’t be true, though.
