What is that drive terminal design? I think it’s a Doppelmayr design but I’m not sure what it is. This is one of those cool Franken-Lifts.

      It’s a yan drive.

It’s a Doppelmayr drive that they tried to make it look like yan so it can fit on the yan terminal mast.

What confuses me is the top terminal, It is counterweight tensioned and I am pretty sure Doppelmayr was not making terminals like that in the 90s. It makes me wonder if it came from another lift from somewhere else?

That’s a Yan. Silverado’s is just like that (just with a top drive as well), as is Belmont’s.

There’s a tower – turned – lightpole in that picture! Where did it come from?

Both terminals and the towers are yan. Some of the sheaves might also be but I’m not 100% on that.

The implication though is that the parts for this lift came from elsewhere, I don’t know what lift they would be from but I doubt they were built new by yan.

This lift doesn’t run much, does it just run on crowded days is it a reliever lift for KT22 or why?

A bit short of a lift in my opinion, KT-22 is way too crowded so this may be a relief.

I wonder where the parts for this lift came from. It is clearly made from parts of some lifts replaced before 1993
