I’m pretty sure that this lift is a 6 person pulse gondola, not 8.

Was this lift build with used towers? They are of the older CTEC type which I thought was discontinued in 2003 or 2004.

The old Raptor, Red Hawk, Saddleback, and First Time might have been some prospective donors for the towers for this lift?

Interesting. They must of added 2 more cabins. If you look at the old picture there are only 2 gondolas. New paint has 3 cabins.

There are four equidistant pods each with three 6-person cabins.

I believe it is, although all it really serves is some lodging, one blue trail with cruddy snow conditions, and the Canyons Village Shuttle.

The Frostwood Gondola is a public lift like the Cabriolet. It mostly serves to transport guests from Frostwood Village to the Resort Core; however, I used it when I was learning to ski and didn’t want to buy a full pass. The ski run back to the Frostwood Village is groomed beautifully; however, since it is lower on the mountain conditions are variable early and late in the season.

No, it’s called the Frostwood Gondola. Maybe the hotel is the Waldorf but I know for sure it’s the Frostwood Gondola.

Correct. It was briefly named the Waldorf Gondola back in 2013 as the same company that owned Canyons owned the Park City Waldorf Astoria.
