    Peter, this lift is not removed. Instead, you should mark it as “Standing” in blue as you do with some other areas not currently operating. It will confuse people to see it as removed when it really isn’t.

    On a side note, I really hope Granite Gorge reopens fully soon. I live nearby and learned to ski here. It’s a special place to me, and it actually is a great little hill, especially during good snow periods and when all the fun natural trails (particularly the ones on the skier’s left of the hill, like Headwall, Pinnacle, Sunset, ect.) are open.

    Did the old Pomalift go further up the hill than the Pinnacle Double? Google earth shows what might have been a liftline extending above the double’s return.

      No. The Poma ended just shy of where the mid Station of the double used to be (it has been removed recently for the planned reopening to avoid congestion at that tight area). The line you’re seeing is most likely the property line of the landowner above the top of the double, who had done a large amount of tree clearing.

    Granite Gorge will be Opening Soon!….from their website. Need to change the above lift from “removed” to “operating”.
