I went to Whitefish during the busy Christmas to New Year’s holiday period, and this was the only lift at the whole ski resort that wasn’t used the entire time I was there. No T’s were on the line either. Is this T-Bar ever used anymore? If I were to guess its purpose and why it remains standing, I speculate that it would be used exclusively by ski teams training on the straight, steep blues right next to it.

PNWRIDER’s guess is right. This T-Bar did run in 2022, but only to service racing/practice on the neighboring blues.
I didn’t ride it at all, but it is a fun lift line to ski when it is not running and has either fresh snow or a fresh groomed track.
