Only issue we had was bird chewing through the SJ wire on tower 5 for the derail circuit! It’s a solid lift and works well for us. Only thing I CANNOT stand is the dang uni-body sheaves! We don’t have the proper equipment to pull out the tire……good thing we have another nearly complete Yan that we bought for parts LOL…..old Millicent from Brighton
My first year of skiing was partially devoted to this lift and trygves at breck. Old memories of sliding down greens because I thought they were too steep haha.
No worries. We all went through that phase at some point. I always chuckle when parents ask an operator to slow how a detachable lift. When I was a kid, I remember riding the Apollo center bar lift at Winter Park. They ran it full tilt, and there was no way my dad was asking for it to be slowed. You just learned to jump at the right time, or risk getting beamed in the back with the chair.
Did this lift go to scrap?

It did go to 49 Degrees North WA, it’s now the Angel Peak Lift there. I’ve spent many hours doing line work on this thing at that mountain!

Ben Eminger- I’ve got some info on machines that are used to reline those uni-body sheaves if you want to send me an email at mweise64 at msn dot com.

Heh, I remember back when Crystal was planning to reinstall the old Millicent double on the old Bullion Basin liftline.
Speaking of which, when is a high speed quad coming to 49* North?
