I really think this lift could benifit from being turned into a HSQ. it serves lots of great terrain but is slow and always slammed with lines

Not true. It hasn’t opened to the public once this year and is rarely ridden since the two groomed trails off of it are almost always closed due to GMVS racing. It’s a real shame that they have yet to open it to the public this year when the trails off of it have been open.

I guess that’s true the last time I went was in feb of 2020 and it was opened and the runs were really neat and there were some long lines.

It’s due for a overhaul and as a result of this can’t run full speed they have made a statement saying they don’t need to run it with gmx running well it’s run 4 days this year 2 days it snowed and summit and north ridge was broken on day gmx went down becuse a chair went into the top terminal side ways and this ran for about 3 hours still gmx came back online my guess is once they over haul it it will run more they are trying to preserve it so they have it this season the lifts on mount Ellen have been a nightmare this year

Inverness got a new drive this summer, so that should help.
