Not sure, but the the chairs with the more rounded bails were used on most Doppelmayr lifts in the east from the mid-1980s up until 1990ish. The more square bails were used until the mid-1980s (if you looks at Lift II @ Sutton you can see both bail styles in the same picture as that lift has a chairs with both bail styles). I don’t think the rounded bails were ever used out west. I want to say that the first EJs in the east were on the Tremblant Express in 1988, which had bubbles until it was relocated.
Long lines can form at #4. This needs to be upgraded like all the others. A six pack would be nice. There is a couple hundred more vertical feet below the bottom of the lift terminal which would make for a nice extension if they wanted to.
Why do all of these late 80’s Doppelmayrs up in Quebec use the old equipment even after the Ej chairs have been developed and used in the US?

Cos the carriers with the rounded shoulders are way more æsthetically purtier.

Are these 80s Doppelmayr fixed-grips going to be around in 20 years? I wouldn’t be surprised…
