I think this was originally the Challenge Double at Blue Mountain, PA. It was replaced by the Leitner-Poma 6 pack in 2006, but would have only been 19 years old at the time.

Lift is longer listed on any trail reports and they made no effort to open it this year. Even the Epic Mix app doesn’t show the lift on the map.

Is it possible this lift came from over at Liberty? Liberty ran 2 doubles on the front side until the early 2000s when they were replaced by the alpine quad.

As on Fall 2024, the Jib Junction lift has been decommissioned at Whitetail and is in the process of being removed. Whitetail recently held an auction to sell off the old chairs. Whitetail does not plan to replace the lift with anything else, as the terrain it served is covered by the Whitetail Express lift.

The chair lift came from blue mountain pa, and was removed due to engine room issues.

The General Manager of Whitetail confirmed in late 2024 that the Jib Junction lift originally came from Boyce Park Ski Area near Pittsburgh, a relatively small ski area with just a 180-foot vertical. It looks like it might have been what is called the decommissioned “B” Hall lift in LiftBlog’s database for Boyce Park. So, that should solve that mystery!
