The seats in the new cabins are probably the most comfortable of any gondola I’ve ever been in, way better than the 5 year old sigma cabins in the Stratton gondola or even the 3 year old cabins in Sweetwater at Jackson Hole.

The new K1 cabins have leather seats unlike those two. Unfortunately the cabins are not level walk in and have many scratches already from snowboards because the new rack design is horrible and they fall out. They should switch to the Stratton style racks which are much better.

well California express is probably getting these cabins and considering the liftline, things falling out will be pretty much gone forever.

Full length recording with new cabins at 860 fpm. I also noticed the racks got replaced with ones that are similar to Stratton’s.

My first ever gondola. The old cabins had great designs. Great views of everything. You can see several ski resorts at the top. Magic Mountain, Okemo, Stratton, Mount Snow, etc. Accesses anything, its always packed expect weekdays. They did move the old cabins to Skyeship
