I don’t think Powder was relocated from Sundance. It was mentioned elsewhere that Mandan from Sundance was scrapped and this photo from the 1960s or 70s shows Powder in place with original towers and chairs. Mandan was removed at some point in the 90s when Ray’s was installed.
looking at google maps it appears that the homemade lift is gone but the other chair is still there but does not have any chairs on the line. Interestingly it seems like the replacement lift is closer to the original Riblet chair even though the homemade one was the one to be removed.
Just went skiing at kelly caynon. Outlaw is removed and doesnt operate anymore. The only thing left of the chairlift is the top terminal and the mid station.
My guess is the chairlift was removed somewhere around 2022 because if you click download map on there website it gives you the old map with a date 12 01 2022 with Outlaw still on it. It also says gold rush has a midstation when it actually doesnt.

Since Stony Mountain was removed and Summit is still standing, is Kelly Canyon planning on keeping Summit as a backup lift?

They have removed it from the trail map on their website too.
