Here’s some pictures of the old Center-Pole chairs on Easter, before being retrofitted.

Here’s a photo of the old Maverick T-Bar (with wooden towers!)

Might as well post some more images that come from Kimberly’s earliest days.

That Kimberleykeepers site is really cool, thanks for posting.
I recall that as a little kid, that first uphill on the tbar (beginning at second tower in the background) would topple me over about half the time, as insufficient weight combined with the sudden increase in tension on the T made for a gravitationally difficult experience. At that time, in the late 90s early 2000s, the Tbar had a mix of Ts, some were the [presumably] original wooden ones, and some had been replaced with plastic. The tow rope was further to the right, beyond the limits of this photograph and slightly below those light tower things. At this time, the base of the Tbar (and the Buckhorn chair) was the lower extent of the Kimberley ski hill; the current base area did not exist until the HSQ was installed in 1998. I think this was a contributing factor to the removal of the Buckhorn and the Tbar, had their bottom terminals been beside the HSQ, they might have been more likely to keep one or both as a backup.

Here’s a good photo of the old Murray Latta Buckhorn double:

Interesting that the chairs don’t have safety bars, though they were obviously added later.

Any photos of the mid station just over the hill? I don’t know if it was original or added later, but they had it at one point serving a mountain coaster thing.
