This Yan triple was added alongside the Bear double in 1981 to provide additional capacity on the main face. The lift line. The top section is short but steep.Mellow lower lift line.View down from the breakover.Towers 12 and 13.Traditional Yan top drive with fixed bullwheel.Top station overview.Motor room and operator house. The bottom station is height adjustable.
Yeah it still runs, as of now it’s just a backup for the 6 pack next to it.
There has been talk of shortening Kuma and making a beginner lift out of it and getting rid of Cub. Top terminal would be about the same elevation as top of Cub is now. Think would be a great idea!!!
But seems like they don’t want to spend the money. Although the cost would be minimal compared to a new lift.
These photos were taken while Bear was being replaced with a high speed six pack.
