Top terminal and breakover towers. The top has 90-degree unloading.Another view of the unload.View down the line from the summit.Top terminal from below.View down the middle part of the line.Upper lift line.Lower section of the line.Bottom terminal with work chair.Another view of the bottom terminal.
Not to mention that since this lift was installed, the Summit restaurant opened (which took up tons of space), and the Hidden Peak area is supposed to be the future terminal of a lift to Twin Peaks/Mary Ellen Gulch.
Reminds me when when I first went skiing at snowbird back when little cloud was a double. We had to hike up to the tram. It wasnt easy because it snowed around 2-3 feet that the night before and the snow was up to my waist.
A high speed quad with six pack line gauge for wind reasons.

I think the reason the lift was built as a six pack with quad chairs so the lift can operate in higher winds and the accommodate 90 degree unloading.

Why (when they installed the quad) wasn’t this aligned to terminate on hidden peak? Would there be too much skier congestion?

More like, between Mineral Basin Express and the Tram offloading on that narrow ridge, there wasn’t enough room.
