I think this lift originally had Borvig pentagon style chairs. The safety bars are definitely from the original chairs. Compare them to this lift at Great Gorge (now Mountain Creek)

This has got to be one of Borvig’s earliest chairlifts. Were the pentagon style chairs Borvig’s original design? Also, was the current design ever used widespread or just a rare alternative?

This lift was relocated in 1995 from our boneyard. It was in the current triple lift location thst was upgraded in 1985.

Yeah, I was going to comment on the oddly shaped safety bars, I thought they were some old style borvig as well.

It did have Pentagon style chairs, we retained the old safety bars with the current lift. I have a pic from it’s original location with the original chairs, but I’m unable to upload.

Are there any Borvig pentagon chairs left, or are they all gone.
