the world book entry says it runs at 2000 but the chairs seem to be too spaced out for that to be the case, did they remove chairs?

The Doppelmayr Worldbook entries always say the design capacity for the system, not the initial capacity. The system is rated for 2000/hr but they probably don’t have a full line of chairs. Another example of this is the Lincoln Express at Loon says 2800/hr, but the initial (and current) capacity is 1800.

Does this lift have the 4E98 bubble chairs now?

Why did the EJ bubbles on this lift get replaced when many bubble lifts of the same era in Europe look just fine and didn’t become opaque. I understand that the ones in the 80s were poorly designed and the bubbles were either removed or looked opaque and worn, but there many 90s Doppelmayr bubble lifts in Europe that look completely fine. Is it that the 90s era bubble lifts needed an indoor maintenance facility and the American resorts weren’t willing to spend the money for one?

Bingo, YC didn’t invest in storage facilities for their chairs and it led to the bubbles not lasting as long as they could have. Even though they don’t have to deal with as much vandalism as public ski areas. And it seems they haven’t learned their lesson since the new eglise lifts don’t appear to have storage either.

I see from photos another chair lift next the Lodge Lift. That (4 FG ?) , located just North of the lodge lift, as seen from the photos in the enclosed link. ( photos # 1 and #10)

I would bet that chair lift will serve the what appears to be a medium sized hotel under constuction by the 4th. switch back on the road winding up the mountain face just North of the ‘Enclave’ run.

I have added that lift on My GE map.

I also see that in the summertime , what appears to be a small mountain bike downhill run with berms , newer satellite photos show what appears to be a day lodge of some sort, I had previously thought that under constuction building to be a hotel.

Check out ‘Camo ag’ for the latest Sat photos.
