Boreal has focused on being the beginner mountain for Tahoe and terrain park. Therefore, people don’t venture and explore this side of the mountain that much. It wasn’t open when I was there in February on a Saturday so it may only operate on peak days.
Seems like they are having difficulty sticking to a name based on the old trail maps..

Wonder why they don’t move it to the old quicksilver alignment, if they won’t run it in its current config?!
The YAN triple was installed new in 1979. IT is 2388′ long (slope length) x 437′ vertical, speed 450 fpm, capacity 1800 pph. I am not sure if it replaced a Riblet at the same location, but it does not use any existing Riblet towers.
This is also labeled Riblet.

Why does this chair not seem to run much? It’s the only way to serve it’s trail pod

Isn’t this lift called the Flying Dutchman? It’s labeled that on the map.

Good catch. This lift appears to have been renamed recently.
