North Face – Crested Butte, CO

The original High Lift was a detachable platter which was replaced by this Italian-built T-Bar.
There are only 7 towers.
Loading area.
Drive system.
Bottom terminal and track seen from below.

    I rode the original poma in the late 80’s. If I recall, one has to skate across a pond to get to the North Face. That lift serves very challenging terrain.

      On Northface Lift we got The Glades, NorthFace/ Sock it too me, Spellbound Pheonix/Staircase, and Third Bowl. on the far skiers right.
