North – Ski Blandford, MA

As of 2019, this is the newest lift at Ski Blandford, having opened in 1978.
The bottom terminal has the counterweight.
Loading area.
Portal style tower 1.

After the cliff, the lift actually travels downhill for a stretch.

    lift hasnt opened since i think 2014 or so. They ran it on the diesel engine a bit last year to keep the cobwebs off the gears if you know what I mean. Fallen into great deterioration as seen in some of these photos. Not really needed since this side of the mountain is natural snow only, which is of course extremely rare in big enough amounts to open it. blandford doesn’t really have the money to repair this lift anyway, even though they are owned by butternut. Anyone know aabout how much a new 2 speed engine would cost for this thing? they installed one on glade for 2019-2020 seasons.
