This relatively short lift links the Skye Peak area with Snowshed.Poma Alpha terminal.Side view of the bottom terminal. The lift line.Fixed return bullwheel up top.Upper section of the lift line.Middle line.Lower section of the line.Unloading ramp.
First fixed grip quad at Killington and Vermont that I was on. Very quiet lift. Great access to easy intermediate trails. Great reliever for Skyeship and Needles eye. You get a great view of Skyeship behind you
This lift does not have the original chairs. They used to be the weird looking early Omega chairs, like what Loveland has on Chair 8.
This picture shows the original chairs. It also looks like they were spaced closer together back then. k50.jpg (877×590)
My guess is that the replacement chairs went on in 2004, the same year that the chairs on Superstar were replaced. Not sure why other than thinking there may have been something wrong with the original chairs. Like I mentioned earlier, only Loveland still uses that chair style.
Very interesting lift, 1990s Omega Chairs but 80s style towers, lifting frames and sheaves.

And a Yan 475 gearbox plus a GMCS-FGR control system.
