The alignment features a non-loading angle station to avoid residential properties.

Is this lift owned and operated by Big Sky or One & Only?

Owned by Lone Mountain Land Company/One&Only, maintained by Big Sky Resort. Not sure about the operators, they were wearing One&Only uniforms.

Yes, a two ring one at the Madison base station (technically the top).

The mid station reminds me a lot of the Disney Skyliner.

It seems as though this may have been built in place of the “lift below Six Shooter” in the Big Sky 2025 master plan. That lift, in tandem with a second real estate access lift, was to be constructed to provide ski-in/ski-out access to the current One&Only area.

At this point, I wouldn’t be surprised if Big Sky hit the world record for having the most residential access lifts.
