Oz has a fairly uncommon drive terminal. Do you know of any others like it?

this drive terminal is pretty common but it seems like the main bullwheel gear is larger than normal for these. Looks like it has a geardrive similar to a similar CTEC lift, I believe these were actually just caterpillar bulldozer reduction gears, they sure look like it at least.

Doppelmayr didn’t offer Cat final drives until after the merger with CTEC, as I recall. Looking at the photo of the motor room here, this one had all the reduction in the gearbox. But yes, CTEC used bulldozer reducers. Older lifts like Herons used scraper final drives (smaller).

This is a slow lift and the only Dopplemayer fixed grip lift here. EXPERTS: this will be your breeding ground. Great views off this lift. You can see Merrill Hill from behind. This lift rarely opens and there’s NEVER lines over here

Ya as an intermediate to getting into advanced skier the drop off into the Oz trial was kind of unnerving to me.

I went to Sunday River in 2026 and they changed the color of the base terminal to red i am pretty sure. I don’t know I went by it going to Jordan Bowl
