Leitner-Poma added lifting frames to the towers around 2015 or 2016 .

Leitner-Poma has also replaced some of the sheaves, notably at towers 10 and 11.

Changing tower colours depending on if they are in the open or in the woods is 100% sharp!!

I wonder why there was only half lifting frames on this before, I have not seen any other examples, why is that?

Probably because the side that they were on was the side that derailed some? The upper platter at Beartooth basin has a similar setup.

For 2023-24, this lift has received cushions to make the seats more comfortable, however, the backrests are still extremely uncomfortable.

Anybody notice in the latest LL trail map that Upper 5 has been removed? Is that considered a permanent closure now?

It is open so rarely that it probably was better to remove it, like Elevator Shaft, but I don’t think it is a permanent closure yet.
