Garaventa CTEC replaced all of Schuss Mountain’s lifts in 1997 and 1998.View up the lift line.Sprint drive terminal with hydraulic tensioning.Riding up the line.Arriving up top.Unloading area.Tower 6.Lower lift line.View up at tower 3.
When I was skiing today this lift was making a very loud clanking noise in the bottom drive terminal. lift was kept open as usual and they didn’t even stop letting skiers on, so it must have been something they knew about. the clank seemed on rhythm with the normal ticking noise that these CTEC lifts make, but way louder. anyone know what this would be? definitely did not seem normal but again they still let people up.
That’s a nice color scheme

I must be so used to Riblets, but I think the towers on this lift are pretty tall. It’s not like this lift goes over cliffs or anything.
