Poma – Cranor Hill, CO

Built in 1965 and operated by the City of Gunnison, this Poma platter lift is one of the oldest operating lifts in Colorado.
Only one lift here, no snowmaking and minimal grooming.
The drive unit.
Up top is the tension return bullwheel.
View down from the summit.
Another view of the floating bullwheel.
The last two towers.
There are three official unloading points.
’60s style Poma tower.
A half tower for the uphill side.
Split tower 2.
